Application

  • When the immediate disconnection of the power supply does not cause hazardous states
    (uncontrolled stopping – STOP category 0 to IEC 60204-1).
  • When hazards may occur on machines with electronically controlled drives.

The Emergency-stop function is an additional safety function. It is not permissible as a sole means of protection!

The calculated characteristic values apply for the assumptions made in safety-related applications and the safety-oriented switchgear used.
